Simple. The moment you touch the candy, the witch will know you're there. And she'll kill you and feast upon your remains. I've seen it done. [And hey...it almost happened to her.]

Or, you eat the candy, find yourself unable to stop and end up fighting off insulin shock the rest of your days.
