Darcy...not from Asgard, I take it? [There was a sort of mythological pattern to the names of Asgardians he was finding. Darcy sounded more normal, someone from Earth.]
Not from Asgard, no. [He chuckles.] She is a friend I made the first time I landed in Midgard. She worked with Eric Selvig and Jane Foster in New Mexico.
Last names? Yes, of course, though they are slightly different than here. For instance, I am Thor Odinson, and my brother is Loki Odinson. I am not sure if he still calls himself such, however. My father is Odin Allfather, as he does not have a father.
People on Earth would probably find that confusing. Being that usually a family has all the same last name, that's how you know if you're related or not.
I see. [He had not considered this. It seemed a strange custom to him, but he could understand the appeal. The desire to unify yourself with the one you love.]
[Bruce shoves his hands in his pockets, giving his head a shake no.] Not married, no. [Doubtful he will with the condition he has, the Hulk makes life difficult in so many ways]
[It's Thor, Bruce doesn't mind so much admitting this.] ...I do have... [it seemed too little a word to say girlfriend to describe Betty] ...someone I care about very much.
Traditionally? There's dating, going out and doing things together like eating or movies. If it's serious, you date exclusively and then get engaged if you both want to get married. Asking the lady's father helps.....sometimes. [Bruce wouldn't ask General Ross for anything if he ever decides to go through with it with Betty.]

This may be an odd question, but does everyone only have one name where you're from? Thor and Loki and Odin....no last names?
So I wouldn't be Bruce Banner, I'd be....Davidson.

May I ask a personal question?

Is it normal to date more than one person if you are not serious?
