Spencer lifted her head slowly "Not at all, I think you explained everything good enought for me." Spencer started to giggle to herself. She always thought the professor looked hot in the morning.
[He doesn't understand her giggling. While he's used to students, he's used to office hours being populated by the kids asking for assignment extensions or a multitude of questions that he'd already answered twice in lecture and that the student can't seem to understand until it's given him a headache.] Were you looking for an extension on your paper? Because I have to tell you, Professor Danow doesn't give extensions unless you're in the hospital.
Spencer seems shocked that the professor thinks she needs an extenstion on her work. she never hands it in late, "No sir, I completed the paper days ago."
Oh. Brilliant then. [So why was she here? He hesitates there, leaning against one of the desks in the office he shares with three other grad students.]
[It takes him a minute to look up, but when he does he pauses before replying. He doesn't recognize her as one of his students, because surely he would remember someone like that?] Good morning. Can I help you with something?
[Luke is perched on the back of one of the chairs in the front row, turned to speak to her,] Impressive for a Monday morning, I must say. How was your weekend?
[She leans close, with a conspiratorial smile] You see, I, unlike many other students at this fine institution, don't spend my weekends partying and/or drunk. That being said, I was bored out of my mind this weekend. How was yours?
Not even one. [She shakes her head] I'm really quite boring. No - I spent most of Saturday here, developing photos. I like my digital camera, don't get me wrong, but there's something about being in the darkroom that I love.
None of my other TA's are as awesome as you. I think it's because we're friends, and not just complete strangers that makes it fun to be here. It sure isn't the class itself.
[It's ... really, really cute, and she shouldn't be enjoying it as much as she is.] You'd think so, but each of my roommates has a different major, and ... they're really all I hang out with.

I spent my weekend grading the papers that were turned in last week and working on my thesis. It was all very exciting.
Oh, yes, it sounds so very stimulating.
